Society often portrays a negative stereotype of nursing homes. ACHCA seeks to change the way students think about our industry.  We want you to connect and learn from the Administrators that work hard, along with their teams, to help ensure that their residents receive quality care.  We are the professional home for the long-term care Administrator.

ACHCA has opened many opportunities for me as a student. I have served on [the] executive board of the ACHCA Student Chapter at UWEC, attended the past two ACHCA National Convocations as a student presenter in the Dr. Kevin Hansen Student Memorial Poster Exposition, and made connections that will greatly benefit me after my AIT. [Those connections have] set me up for success for projects coming up in the future. The knowledge that I have gained from attending the Educational Sessions at National Convocation is like no other. I am beyond grateful for the resources ACHCA has provided me so early on in my career, and [I] look forward to continuing to take advantage of them as a future LNHA." — Mitch Gordon, University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, Health Care Administration Major
