NAB Annotation Study

The NAB Annotation Study provides exam candidates a detailed breakdown of tasks as well as the knowledge/skills performed across the long term care continuum.

It contains detailed information about those topics covered on the CORE general knowledge exam as well as the content covered across the separate lines of service: Nursing Home (NHA), Resident Care/Assisted Living (RCAL), and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). The purpose of this Annotation Guide is to outline differences across lines of service along with identifying how training content, test questions, and testing emphasis differ among each of the exam modules.
