Going through a software implementation can present many challenges to your organization.  Join us as a panel of FORVIS clinical, accounting and billing professionals discuss what to do and not do to prepare for your next software implementation project. They will also give you best practices on how to solve software implementation problems for your organization!

Brenna Farrell is a member of the Healthcare Practice. She implements Sage Intacct for long-term care facilities and is a Certified Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist and Certified Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist. She also provides support and implementation consulting for various other software packages such as Point Click Care, Matrix, and Bill. Additionally, she provides outsourced accounting services to several long-term care facilities.

Malissa Fields is a part of FORVIS’ senior living billing services team, which provides billing outsourcing, recovery, training, and consulting to providers nationwide. She works in multiple software systems to coordinate the billing services for her clients. She assists with recovery and special projects as needed. Malissa serves as the client onboarding specialist for her team and meets with new clients to streamline the transition to FORVIS.

Deborah Lake is a member of FORVIS National Health Care Group. She concentrates on Medicare and Medicaid case-mix reimbursement and compliance in the long-term care industry and on completion and coordination of the Minimum Data Set (MDS). She provides clinical consulting, training, and follow-up for health care providers to ensure appropriate reimbursement and regulation compliance.

Jenn Lender is a member of the Healthcare Practice, providing consulting services for skilled nursing facilities and review and audit services for long-term care billing clients. Her services also include process review work.  She joined the firm in 2012 and has 13 years of experience in healthcare, including six years working with skilled nursing facilities. Jenn is a graduate of Santa Fe College, Gainesville, Florida, with an A.S. degree in health information management, and a graduate of University of Maryland Global Campus, Adelphi, with a B.A. degree in humanities.
