• Properly identifying different types of wounds and tissue types. Identifying the wound and type of tissue must be identified before an appropriate treatment is determined.
• Introduction to advanced wound care treatments – “expanding the treatment toolbelt.”
• Post-Care – Discussing offloading, protective dressings, protocols to help wounds from reopening.
