This scholarship is provided through the George & Leah Hollander Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of George and Leah Hollander, the parents of Debra Hollander, LNHA, MBA, a longtime member of ACHCA. Debra believes that actions such as this can provide resources that help members of ACHCA advance their careers, and to use this knowledge at their organizations to improve the quality of service they provide to their healthcare organization, and ultimately, to the people in the healthcare community who benefit from their services.

Background: ACHCA believes that the quality of care and life in a Long Term Care Facility or Senior Housing begins with the Administrator’s quality of education. Therefore, ACHCA strongly encourages early career Administrators to apply for the George & Leah Hollander Memorial Scholarship.
